The Amber Pet Alert Process

content1Step One: First you provide information about your case. We will need your name, phone, pet’s name, age, breed, color, the location last seen, photos and any other relevant details. Our staff will then analyze your case and create a professionally designed poster. Our easy to remember name and Logo are invaluable because posters get taken down and AmberPetAlert.com is easy to remember. Our lost pet database makes it easy to find and contact you if anyone calls us about your pet.

content1Step Two: We broadcast your poster to local Veterinarians, Animal Shelters, Groomers, Animal Control, Police Stations, Media Outlets, Pet Stores and “Neighborhood Watch Volunteers” within a 15 to 100 mile radius of where your pet was last seen. Amber Alert Posters are sent via express mail, fax and email depending on the recipient. Recipients are then encouraged to photocopy the posters and to post up at least 10 copies around the local vicinity.

content1Step Three: Your poster is received by thousands of people, pet businesses and agencies in your local area. There are hundreds of people in the know about your lost pet and they are looking out for them throughout the day. When your pet is found or sighted by someone, they call our hotline or visit our website to report it and we contact you with the good news.
